This bill takes a trillion dollars from the safety net to give millionaires and billionaires a 12k tax benefit. Y’all, none of these people would stop to pick it up if they dropped 12k on the sidewalk. That means less to them than the price of a coffee.
The bill also expands #ICE to a budget and footprint larger than the entire federal prison system. This bill must be stopped. Send your energy to Hakeem, he’s our only hope.
